It is NOT GoDaddy. It's an entirely different company calling themselves "Godaddy Business Advisor", playing on the Godaddy name.

My wife I got a call from them saying that I had "serious issue" with my account.

When I tried to call back later, it was 7:00pm and I got a message saying they were already closed for the day. Real GoDaddy is open 24/7.
So I visited the Godaddy website and didn't find any reference to any problems, which WOULD have shown up there if I had a real problem.

I received a new Discover chip card recently, with a new expiration date, and noticed that my existing card on file had not been updated, so I thought that might be the problem.

I got into chat and was told that "Godaddy Business Advisor" is a scammer, that was a sales call, at best, and if I added privacy to my domains, people like those would not be able to get my information out of the WHOIS database to be contacting me with trash like that.

Someone can go through https://www.whois.com/whois or a few others with a robot

Called from 480-351-1249 (comes up as "Wells Fargo Bank") claiming to need information for a claim. Gives call back number for 877-548-9330, which is NOT Wells Fargo. Calls himself "Miguel"
Scam.

fishing for info, "calling about business matter, give me you SSN". When asked what it is about they hung up.

American Airlines - various departments

I did not answer this call.

Soliciting extended vehicle warranty coverage. Claims to represent GM. When I said I was not interested, he replied with "then do you want to hang the F**** up?"

Call saying he iscacdriver for a freing and ran out of gas. Wanted me tring cash. He lied about his name, tried to setup a meeting. By the way nd the guy ha was with is a well known snitch (Nate Wheeler).

This person is a handyman scam artist. Do NOT do business with him and do NOT give him any money.

Claims to be from a company called Passport Health. They ask for someone who is not there then suddenly hangs up. This has happened 3-4 times in the past week. Very suspicious and possibly a scam

Have received calls several times today from this phone number. No message left.
