Same thing happened to me. Called my house and my cell phone. When I first started talking to her she was very nice. When I began to question the debt and asked for validity of the debt. She became nasty and said she was going to turn me over the the county to deal with me. She transferred me to Cindy Glen who said the same thing.

I too received a call from Mrs. Washington stating I was accused of fraudulent check writing. I don't use checks except for rent. When I called her she did have the last 4 digits of my social security number, but became irate when I said I didn't write checks & said she was going to file the paperwork to suspend my check writing ability & hung up on me. I called back & she hung up on me again. I called the county check fraud dept who said the caller would have to send certified paperwork through the mail for it to be a legitimate call.

I keep getting the same calls from a mrs washington talking about a check fraud case and when i question her concerning the case she gets irrirate and hang up on me.

A woman who identified herself as Ms. Washington was claiming something about having some check fraud paperwork. Said if I didn't get in touch with her she was turning the paperwork over to several different agencies and I would have my check writing privileges suspended. I don't even write checks so I'm willing to bet it's a scam.
